Continuing education credits are offered to healthcare professionals and Canada and U.S.* The Forum is an opportunity for everyone interested in the field of psychedelic psychotherapy, including health providers, advocates, researchers, students, traditional and holistic therapists, to come together to learn, network, and dialogue about this exciting, challenging and promising field. We see the potential of such use to envision a new way of life on Earth, in right relations with all her inhabitants. We aspire to help cultivate safer, justice-informed, inclusive communities of practice who are active in reconciliation, eliminating systems of oppression, and environmental stewardship. We draw on trauma-informed, anti-racist, restorative justice and intersectional practice, and the values of humility, courage, vulnerability, transparency, reciprocity, compassion, and trust.

With a belief in the need to encompass the emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of healing, our mission at Soltara Healing Center is to empower each guest to bridge the gap between mind, body, and spirit and become more fully embodied, integrated, and connected versions of themselves. Working with the Amazonian plant medicine ayahuasca under the guidance of indigenous Peruvian Shipibo healers, we collaborate with clinical psychologists who have extensive plant medicine experience to support a uniquely integrative approach to healing.

The Ayahuasca Foundation was conceived in the spring of 2008 by Carlos Tanner, an American student of Amazonian shamanism who lived for four years with a Peruvian healer. The idea for the Ayahuasca Foundation was born from a desire to spread the science of plant medicine back into the world. The Foundation supports the preservation of indigenous wisdom and culture, offering healing retreats and educational courses, and hosting research focused on the ayahuasca healing tradition used for millennia by indigenous healers of the Peruvian Amazon. The Ayahuasca Foundation also supports the preservation of the Amazon rainforest, and promotes educational efforts to raise awareness about sustainability, permaculture, and harmonious environmental relationships.
