Episode Summary

In this episode of the Psychedelic Spotlight podcast, we speak with Rabbi Zac Kamenetz, who is the Founder and CEO of Shefa, and the Co-Founder of the Jewish Psychedelic Summit.

In our conversation with Rabbi Zac, we discuss the forthcoming Jewish Psychedelic Summit which kicks-off on May 2, 2021, and which, in addition to himself, is being organized by Natalie Ginsberg from MAPS and Madison Margolin from DoubleBlind Magazine. The Summit is scheduled to feature an impressive list of guest speakers highlighted by Rick Doblin.

In addition to the Summit, we dive in and explore the connection between Judaism and psychedelics, and how psychedelic therapies may one day bring relief to some of the millions of Jewish people across the globe suffering from the serious effects of trauma.
