Project Angie: Can MindMed Disrupt the Pain Relief Industry? [MMED / MNMD Expanding Horizons]
Breaking NEWS: MindMed ( MNMD / MMED / MMQ ) launching a new flagship program called Angie to advance the development of psychedelics, including LSD and potentially penetrate the pain killer industry by treating pain conditions. MindMed is currently exploring two primary clinical indications for the treatment of pain:

MindMed will initiate a study of LSD in a severe pain indication. MMED is currently preparing a pre-IND briefing package for this Phase 2a Proof of Concept study. They plan to submit to the FDA in the second half of 2021.
( As a note, that means they could present this doc anywhere between July 1st and December 31st. So it is conceivable that this trial could start at the tail end of 2021, if this doc gets presented at the beginning of that period.)
The second indication that MindMed is evaluating is “the common, often debilitating, chronic pain syndrome”.

Is it TOO LATE to Buy MindMed (MMED / MMEDF)? NO! Of course not. We are at the beginning of the Psychedelic Stocks boom. Despite the recent MASSIVE runup, the stock has skyrocketed more than 4x in the last week (due to a possible inclusion into the Nasdaq, clinical trial updates and hype), MindMed still has a long way to go yet. MMEDF is definitely one of the best stocks for 2021

While researching a possible investment into psychedelic stocks, you have almost certainly heard the refrain of, “It’s a long-term investment.” I myself, in my many videos for The Psychedelic Investor and articles for PsychedelicSpotlight.com, have probably said this over 100 times.

And while the thesis for investing in psychedelic stocks is appealing, having a timeline clearer than “it’s a long term investment” is necessary before deciding whether it is worth the risk.

In this video, therefore, I endeavor to answer a big question: “When will psychedelic stocks provide a significant return on investment?”

Or, translated to Reddit-speak: when moon?

To start, I feel it’s necessary to give the warning that the answer may be never. To be clear, while I personally believe in the potential for psychedelic stocks such as MindMed (Nasdaq: MNMD, NEO: MMED) and Cybin (NYSE: CYBN, NEO: CYBN), the entire psychedelic medicines industry is inherently speculative and there is no guarantee of success. Yes, the science right now suggests that treatments such as MDMA therapy for PTSD and Ketamine therapy for addiction will disrupt the mental healthcare market, but this needs to be confirmed in larger studies.

There will be two separate turning points for psychedelic medicines and the companies that produce them: the legalization of the first psychedelic medicines, and the legalization of improved next-generation psychedelics.

The first will happen relatively soon.
