Study Finds Synthetic Psilocybin Did Not Adversely Affect Cognitive Function
Research
Is synthetic psilocybin as effective as the real thing? A new study looks at the risks and benefits of taking this lab-made psychedelic.
If the taste and texture of plain raw mushrooms isn't your cup of tea, then why not turn them into enticing gummies? Not only will this make ingestion easier for those who get nauseous from eating raw mushrooms, but it also adds a whole new level of deliciousness to the routine.
First off, I know many people will ask, “why would I want to make gummies when I can just eat a dried mushroom?” That’s true, but eating a dried mushroom is not a great experience. The taste and texture of the mushroom aren’t particularly the best, and for some people, eating raw mushrooms causes severe nausea. So why not prevent these issues by making them into gummy form and popping them whenever you want to trip or to make your microdosing regiment easier? Psychedelic mushroom gummies will make your dosing easier and elevate your experience!
Making psychedelic mushroom gummies is quite simple and requires few ingredients. In this article, we will teach you how to make vegan gummies. This vegan recipe does not use gelatin and instead opts for agar agar powder as its substitute. A pro of this is that the gummies take about 10-15 minutes for your gummies to set rather than the 6-8 hours that gelatin takes to set.
This recipe uses 24 grams of mushrooms to make 24 gummy bears each with a dose of 1 gram of psilocybin. If you want to make these to microdose, then only use 7g of mushrooms – this will give you 24 gummy bears, each with a dose of 0.30 grams.
We are using the lemon tek extraction method to help these gummies be shelf stable (due to the citric acid) and prevent your gummies from being grainy because of the powder. You can skip this and simply use the powder, if you wish, but just know that they will not be very shelf stable.
Let’s get started!

Ingredients:
Equipment needed:
Directions:
Step 1: Grind up your mushrooms into a fine powder
Step 2: Place your mushroom powder into your small bowl and squeeze your lemons into it. Make sure that the juice completely covers all of your powder. Let your lemon juice sit for 20 minutes.
Step 3: After 20 minutes, strain your mushroom lemon solution through a sieve into a small cup. You can either discard the mushroom powder mush, or use it in your gummies – up to you.
Step 4: Combine your fruit juice, sugar, and agar agar powder in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Step 5: Boil your solution for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 6: Let your solution cool down a bit and mix in your lemon juice extract. Agar agar sets pretty quickly, so make sure you don’t let it cool down too much, otherwise you won’t be able to pour it into your molds.
Step 7: Using a candy dropper (or a small spoon), fill your mold without overflowing. Our mold contains 24 gummy bears, each with a volume of 5mL.
Step 8: Allow your gummy bears to set at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
Step 9: Release your gummy bears from the mold and put in a container like a mason jar.
Step 10: Store in fridge and enjoy!
Making psilocybin mushroom gummies is very easy as you can see! These gummies will make your life easier when it comes to dosing and masking the taste of mushrooms, plus they can help with onset nausea!
We also made a video for you to follow along with! In the video we use mushroom powder instead of lemon juice extract, so simply use the lemon juice during that step and you're set! Watch here.
Enjoy and have a great trip!
